What was it?
Kisttr was a Kickstarter backer tracker: a little hack that allowed you to "follow" Kickstarter users, by getting notifications when they backed projects.
Why did it exist?
If you're like me, the main problem you have with Kickstarter is that you end up spending more money than you really should on backing projects.
Kisttr couldn't help with that.
The other problem you have with Kickstarter, though, is that you miss out on backing some wonderful projects because you don't hear about them in time.
Kisttr helped with that problem: when your friends backed projects, you heard about it.
Since Kickstarter added the native ability to "follow" your friends in March of 2012, however, most of the need for kisttr disappeared, so I've put it in drydock.
